Hunting

We are pleased to share that we have formed the Minuteman Hunt Club LLC (MHC), to provide hunters with access to nearly 70 square miles of Eastern Washington hunting opportunities. We have leased all of the Harder Farms properties in the Kahlotus/Washtucna/Lyons Ferry region and manage all hunting access to these properties.

Harder Farms is a 5th-generation cattle ranch, wheat farm, and hay producer.  The property is marked as no trespassing, with locked gate access to MHC Members only. All hunting or shooting activities require an MHC member ID badge.

The property and membership include access to the bunkhouse with sleeping, cooking, shower, and laundry facilities as well as dedicated dry RV or Tent camping space on the property for MHC members.

In addition to MHC members, we are also providing off-peak access to the property for FREE Mentored Youth Hunts and Disabled Veteran Hunts. If you’re interested in participating in one of these activities, please email hunt management at hunt@sporting-systems.com. These spaces will be filled annually with hunters who submit an email application and are screened and approved in writing, by the hunt management team.

All MHC members are required to participate in at least ONE-weekend work party per year and are welcome to donate materials that make the bunkhouse and range even more enjoyable for members. Work party activities may include bunkhouse upgrades, range upgrades, and maintenance, cutting and hauling firewood, or other maintenance items as required to improve the club members’ experience.

All MHC hunters are responsible for the ethical harvest, recovery, processing, and transportation of game taken from the property.

While our intent is to ethically harvest legal game, the long-term goal is to build a healthier and bountiful herd for generations to come. We pledge to significantly reduce the annual harvest from the previous year’s levels, improving habitat, allowing young bucks to mature, managing the doe population, and controlling predators.

Private Rifle Range (in development winter 2023 for 2024 use). With backstops and steel targets at 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 1200, 1500 and 1760 yards.

Thermal and Night Vision training classes (2024)

Direct access to the Snake River between Lower Monumental Dam to Highway 261 at Lyons Ferry.

AT THIS TIME, 2023 MHC MEMBERSHIP IS FULL.   Only mentored youth access space is available for 2023.
